  Korean cuisine is my favorite, and I lived in Seoul for 4 months, so having recently moved back to Idaho, I came here for lunch. I ordered the bibimbap bowl, of course. I never even looked at the menu. It's been my favorite food for many years.
  I was happy to see authentic Koreans in charge, unlike my last visit to a "Korean" restaurant which was some sort of gawd-awful chain restaurant in Meridian. I went to high school in Meridian 40-odd years ago so the very idea of it now being home to a Korean restaurant was intriguing. That place is just awful. If you've been there then I highly recommend you come here to find out what real Korean food is. Mr Wok put my food universe back in balance. Thanks, I needed that.
  I'll be back soon!
  *Bibambop is an assortment of different foods that arrives carefully separated in a sizzling hot iron bowl with an egg on top. You squirt red Kochichan sauce over it to taste and then stir very thoroughly. Not the least bit elegant. So delicious. Comfort food.
  **Ask for extra Kim-Chee on the side. Nothing is more Korean than Kim-Chee.

  Did Mr. Wok change owner?
  I used to love this restaurant. However, my experience yesterday was very disappointing.
  I ordered bibimpa, not the one with hot stone. I feel the rice is definitely not fresh.... it is definitely left over being reheated and still kind of cold.
  The amount of small dishes decreased significantly, we only had 3 which used to be 5-6 small dishes.
  I felt the price went up if I'm not mistaken.
  I mean it's okay if you keep good quality and raise price, but not raising price while the service quality sink...

  Decided to try this place after reading about it in the Statesman, and I cannot believe I have never been here before! The food was amazing!! The KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) is probably the best fried chicken I have ever had. I got mine spicy and thought it had the perfect amount of kick.
  
  Note: it's a little pricey, and the service was slowish, but the food was that good. I'll be back.

  I was pleasantly surprised with the food at Mr. wok... I'm pretty particular when it comes to Korean food and something inside me assumed that a little spot in Boise wouldn't have a quality menu - hot, I was wrong! The food at Mr. Wok's was great! And certainly beat my expectations. I ordered the bibimbop bowl and that was pretty good. While a couple of the items used in the bowl varied from other Korean places I'd tried before - no complaints from me! The jaep chae was also quite good.
  
  I don't go through Boise often... in fact I never go through Boise but this was a nice stop for some good cultural food in the area! Not a fancy place and not an expensive place - but definitely a better eatery than most here!
  
  Even my father in law who is super super picky enjoyed the food - now that's saying something! :)

  Classic authentic Korean food. The bibimbop came out in a beautiful stone bowl, but be careful because it was extremely hot! But it's well worth the  delicious crispy rice from the heat of the stone bowl. My friend tried pork bulgogi for the first time, and after his first bite he literally said "OMG I'm so glad we came here". They served five different kinds of banchan, and the kimchi had a great umami flavor. Vons chicken and Mr Wok are the same restaurant, so their lunch specials consisted of mostly Vons Chicken dishes. Prices were a little high, but that's pretty typical for a Korean restaurant. Also, Mr. Wok came out to the tables to see how everyone was doing, and he was as sweet and welcoming as can be! When we got back to work, everyone was wanting to go back and try it for themselves!
